Naga Sannidhi
The Naga Sannidhi at Sree Dharmashasthagiri Ayyappa Temple is a sacred abode of the Naga Devathas, where the divine Prathishta of Nagaraja, Nagarani, and Chitrakoodam has been consecrated beneath the holy Banyan Tree (Ashwatha Vruksha). Revered as a powerful and spiritually vibrant shrine, the sannidhi radiates divine energy that is deeply experienced by devotees who visit with faith and devotion.
Special Naga Poojas are performed on every Ayilya (Ashlesha) Nakshatra, an auspicious day dedicated to the worship of the Serpent Deities. On these sacred occasions, a large number of devotees participate in the rituals, offering prayers and seeking the divine blessings of the Naga Devathas.
Devotees worship at the Naga Sannidhi for:
Relief from Naga Dosha (Sarpa Dosha)
Santhana Bhagyam (the blessing of children)
Family harmony and marital well-being
Good health, prosperity, and protection
Spiritual growth and inner peace
The serene surroundings beneath the sacred Banyan Tree create a tranquil and spiritually uplifting atmosphere, making the Naga Sannidhi an ideal place for prayer, meditation, and divine contemplation.
May the blessings of Nagaraja and Nagarani remove obstacles, bestow prosperity, and fill every devotee's life with peace, happiness, and divine grace.
