Shiva Sannidhi

The Shiva Sannidhi at Sree Dharmashasthagiri Ayyappa Temple is a sacred space where devotees are blessed with the unique opportunity to personally perform Pooja and Abhishekam to Lord Shiva with deep devotion, faith, and reverence. Every Monday, considered especially auspicious for the worship of Lord Shiva, the temple conducts Special Shiva Pooja with Vedic rituals, attracting numerous devotees who seek Lord Shiva's blessings for health, prosperity, and spiritual well-being.

During the sacred festival of Maha Shivaratri, the temple celebrates the occasion with great devotion and grandeur. The festivities include:

• Sacred 4 Yama Abhishekam throughout the night

• Akhanda Jagarana (all-night vigil and worship)

• Devotional bhajans and cultural programs

• Special poojas and spiritual discourses

On Maha Shivaratri and every Monday, hundreds of devotees participate in various sacred offerings, including Dhara Abhishekam, Archana, Pin Vilakku, and other traditional sevas, receiving the divine grace of Lord Shiva.

Dhyana Mantapa

Located beneath the Shiva Sannidhi is a serene Dhyana Mantapa, thoughtfully designed to provide devotees with a tranquil environment for meditation, prayer, and spiritual contemplation. Surrounded by a peaceful and divine atmosphere, the meditation hall offers an ideal space to experience inner calm, positive energy, and a deeper connection with the Divine.
